Nothing new to tell! I went out to the Cannon Beach area last weekend and checked out the three usual spots (Spot X, Indian Beach, Shorties) and only one was working. The working spot was only going to be working it for another twenty minutes with the tide change- shoulders getting beyond mushy, waves disappearing under the tide, etc. Indian has been a wash for me all winter long and Shorties was only good for the workout of hauling my board and gear to the water and then walking back.

We've finally finished the registration form for the upcoming Surfrider Foundation Clean Water Classic surf contest (June 2-3, Westport WA). The forms are on the front page of http://www.cleanwaterclassic.com and the event always books up.
