Wed May 16 Shorties Awesome-ness

Another perfect day at Short Sands- yet again the waves were small (yes!), relatively uncrowded (yes!), and full of boys with shortboards, doing their best to rip it up on a two foot wave.

Summer in Oregon is just made for the old loggers like me. My nine footer is hardly long enough. If anything, summer in Oregon is about the ten to twelve foot log, which makes it easier for the lazy paddlers like me to catch the small rollers.

The water was a bit disorganized, and that would be the only ding in the day. No clear line up points, but at least that keeps the outside line spread out and keeps everyone moving.

It was awesome!
