Trip to the Zoo May 2007

We took Julia to the Portland Zoo a few weeks ago. While there, we checked out the lorikeets (cute!), large mammals, otters, and all the zoo exhibits along with the nice sunny day.

While there, I overheard these two statements which still crack me up, weeks later. I wrote them down at the time on a dirty napkin, tucked it into a corner of my desk, and just pulled it out.

"I love me a spiny haired goat!"

and the classic

"How does Valium work on a kid?"
